Amnon and Tamar, is one of the story I couldn't get it before...
Why does it is written in the bible?
How come he love her so much, in an inappropriate way (incest) yet once he had her he hates her?
It does not makes any sense
But God is good, he reveals what it means today though the gift of speaking in tongue and interprets the speaking in tongue, that's why I want to share it here...
Amnon loves Tamar so much, because of Tamar is very beautiful
1) Love and Lust is slightly different, you need to make sure what u feel is love, or is it lust
Amnon and Tamar both are David kids, how come Amnon can do such inappropriate things to his sister? While his Dad is the famous warrior, man of God in the bible, who have such up close and personal relationship with God?
2) when you are close to God, make sure you bring your family to be close to God too, because if not, the devil will try to ruin your life from the closest person around you, family is an image of God's (Father, Holy Spirit and Son)
That's why the devil will be happy if it can destroys families.
Why after Amnon rape Tamar he hates her?
3) because its not love, it's lust, it's not what he needs, it is his wants,
you want something, it doesn't mean you need it.
There are clouds after clouds, there will be someone else better, prettier, more handsome, etc.
If you based your love on lust, it will be destroyed, sooner or later,
because what you've started wrong, will end up in chaos
4) Becareful with who you hangs out with, this incident maybe wouldn't happen if Amnon didn't ask for Jonadab advice (1 Corinthians 15:33 - do not be deceived: "evil company corrupts good habits.")
little devil ask for bigger devil advice, leads to: chaos
5) Why is it written in the bible?
Simply because God want us to learn from other people mistake.
Family is very essential, even the great people in the bible, have problems with building a Godly family.
It is good to serve God with all your might, yet we have to make sure that our family is saved too.
Amen o:)

THE HOT WATER BOTTLE - A True Story By Helen Roseveare, Missionary to Africa
THE HOT WATER BOTTLE - A True Story By Helen Roseveare, Missionary to Africa
One night, in Central Africa, I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all that we could do, she died leaving us with a tiny, premature baby and a crying, two-year-old daughter.
We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive. We had no incubator. We had no electricity to run an incubator, and no special feeding facilities. Although we lived on the equator, nights were often chilly with treacherous drafts.
A student-midwife went for the box we had for such babies and for the cotton wool that the baby would be wrapped in. Another went to stoke up the fire and fill a hot water bottle. She came back shortly, in distress, to tell me that in filling the bottle, it had burst. Rubber perishes easily in tropical climates. "...and it is our last hot water bottle!" she exclaimed. As in the West, it is no good crying over spilled milk; so, in Central Africa it might be considered no good crying over a burst water bottle. They do not grow on trees, and there are no drugstores down forest pathways. All right," I said, "Put the baby as near the fire as you safely can; sleep between the baby and the door to keep it free from drafts. Your job is to keep the baby warm."
The following noon, as I did most days, I went to have prayers with many of the orphanage children who chose to gather with me. I gave the youngsters various suggestions of things to pray about and told them about the tiny baby. I explained our problem about keeping the baby warm enough, mentioning the hot water bottle. The baby could so easily die if it got chilled. I also told them about the two-year-old sister, crying because her mother had died. During the prayer time, one ten-year-old girl, Ruth, prayed with the usual blunt consciousness of our African children. "Please, God," she prayed, "send us a water bottle. It'll be no good tomorrow, God, the baby'll be dead; so, please send it this afternoon." While I gasped inwardly at the audacity of the prayer, she added by way of corollary, " ...And while You are about it, would You please send a dolly for the little girl so she'll know You really love her?" As often with children's prayers, I was put on the spot. Could I honestly say, "Amen?" I just did not believe that God could do this. Oh, yes, I know that He can do everything: The Bible says so, but there are limits, aren't there? The only way God could answer this particular prayer would be by sending a parcel from the homeland. I had been in Africa for almost four years at that time, and I had never, ever received a parcel from home. Anyway, if anyone did send a parcel, who would put in a hot water bottle? I lived on the equator!
Halfway through the afternoon, while I was teaching in the nurses' training school, a message was sent that there was a car at my front door. By the time that I reached home, the car had gone, but there, on the veranda, was a large twenty-two pound parcel! I felt tears pricking my eyes. I could not open the parcel alone; so, I sent for the orphanage children. Together we pulled off the string, carefully undoing each knot. We folded the paper, taking care not to tear it unduly. Excitement was mounting. Some thirty or forty pairs of eyes were focused on the large cardboard box. From the top, I lifted out brightly colored, knitted jerseys. Eyes sparkled as I gave them out. Then, there were the knitted bandages for the leprosy patients, and the children began to look a little bored. Next, came a box of mixed raisins and sultanas - - that would make a nice batch of buns for the weekend. As I put my hand in again, I felt the...could it really be? I grasped it, and pulled it out. Yes, "A brand-new rubber, hot water bottle!" I cried. I had not asked God to send it; I had not truly believed that He could. Ruth was in the front row of the children. She rushed forward, crying out, "If God has sent the bottle, He must have sent the dolly, too!" Rummaging down to the bottom of the box, she pulled out the small, beautifully dressed dolly. Her eyes shone: She had never doubted! Looking up at me, she asked, "Can I go over with you, Mummy, and give this dolly to that little girl, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?"
That parcel had been on the way for five whole months, packed up by my former Sunday School class, whose leader had heard and obeyed God's prompting to send a hot water bottle, even to the equator. One of the girls had put in a dolly for an African child -- five months earlier in answer to the believing prayer of a ten-year-old to bring it "That afternoon!" "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65:24
Helen Roseveare a doctor missionary from England to Zaire, Africa, told this as it had happened to her in Africa. She shared it in her testimony on a Wednesday night at Thomas Road Baptist Church.
---Looooveee this testimony ^^ I know HE has a plan for me, and I'll hold on to HIS promise, Amen. GBU all ^^---
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Psalm 139:13
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
Jeremiah 1:5
I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you..

"If all you can do is get up and go to work, and do what you can do then God will do what you can't do." - Joyce Meyer
Charismatic televangelist and bestselling author Joyce Meyer on Thursday opened up about the death of her younger brother David as part of a message on the life of self-pity versus the life of diligence and faith.
Meyer said she learned about her brother's death after Los Angeles authorities called her in December, about a week after Christmas, to inform her that they found him dead in an abandoned building in the city. He had been dead 30 days and his body was so badly decomposed that authorities needed his dental records to identify him, she said.
A few days ago, she received his cremated ashes and a few personal effects that included a pocket knife, empty wallet, key chain and broken watch. She imagined that he must have been filled with regret during the last days of his life for not making the right choices.
"My personal effects and his personal effects are sadly different. What are your personal effects going to be when your time here is up?" she asked attendants at the C3 Conference at Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas, a gathering designed to inspire church and ministry leaders to bring their church to the next level.
During her address, Meyer compared her life with that of her brother's to illustrate the point that it's up to the person's determination to follow God's plan, not his circumstances, that allow him to reap God's promises.
"How one life turns out is not dependent on what people do to us or what they don't do for us," said Meyer. "There is no man on earth or devil in hell who can keep you from the very best God put in you."
Using John 5 as her main text, Meyer preached on the story of the paralytic man who laid by the pool for 38 years waiting to be healed. Jesus asked the man, "Do you really want to get well?" To which the man didn't respond with "yes," but with self-pity. The paralytic man complained that no one helped him into the pool and that someone would always beat him to the pool when the angel stirred the water.
She related the story to her own life and that of her brother's.
For many years, Meyer had suffered from sexual abuse from her father, which led to her to become controlling, manipulative and rebellious. She was saved at the age of 9 but lapsed in her faith. It wasn't until she was much older that she heard the voice and calling of God to preach. Today, she is a world-renowned preacher, with millions of books sold and TV programs that air to two-thirds of the world, by her count.
Meanwhile, her brother David joined the Marine Corp and started taking drugs and prescription medicine. He married young and had a baby. He left his wife and refused to pay child support. Meyer said she tried several times to help her brother but he kept running away. During one point in his life, he received employment under Joyce Meyer and worked there for a few years until he was asked to pay $60,000 in unpaid child support. He quit the job and went through a string of girlfriends and drug habits. Another time, she helped him receive drug rehabilitation at the Dream Center in Los Angeles, but after a few months into the program, he said it wasn't for him.
The evangelist said that both she and her brother came from the same bloodline, same family, in some aspects, both went through their own struggles. However, while she eventually took responsibility for her behavior, her brother always ran away from his.
Even though the crippled man in the gospel story couldn't move much, but during the 38 years, he could at least wiggle to the edge of the pool, she pointed out.
"He (David) just wanted to lay by the pool another year, feel sorry for himself, blame somebody and remain crippled," said Meyer. "I got tired of laying by the pool and I decided to wiggle."
Meyer said she wasn't bringing up the story of her brother to bring disrespect, but she believed he would have wanted her to speak about him to teach others "a lesson."
She said there was a time she and her husband considered paying off his overdue child support, but she wanted her brother to show his commitment to working and not quitting the job.
"I think sometimes God has a miracle for people but he sees if they're going to wiggle first," she said. "Next time you're having a pity party and want to give up, I hope the Holy Ghost whispers in your ear, wiggle!"
In her message, Meyer also said she was inspired by Bill Hybels' story in his latest book, The Power of a Whisper. Hybels, pastor of Willow Creek Community Church near Chicago, shares in the book that he prayed all night one day in search of answers to some of the challenges facing the church. He told God that he would pray until he could receive an answer from God. As dawn approached, he heard a whisper from God telling him to simply get up, get dressed, and go to work.
God operates on the seed principle of faith, Meyer pointed out. No matter how pathetic the attempt is, if we try our best then God will bless us, she said.
"If all you can do is get up and go to work, and do what you can do then God will do what you can't do."
Be Thankful
I’m thankful for each strand of hair
That grows upon my head
I’m thankful for the clothes I wear
And for a nice warm bed.
I’m thankful for the caring friends
Who make me feel so glad
I’m thankful for a doctor’s care
When I am feeling bad.
I’m thankful for a place to pray
And for the books I read
I’m thankful for a loving God
Who meets my every need.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
Because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes,
They will teach you valuable lessons.
It’s easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those
who are also thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they will become your blessings.

Sometimes
Sometimes..it's really hard to see God's plan in our life...
sometimes...we just want to run away from our problems..
and find a safe secret hiding place...
but guess what...HE have another plan in your life...
HE wants you to stop running away
and face the problems with his presence in your life..
me? I'm just like the israelites who keep falling into my weakness...
everytime I try to run away...or at least, planning to run away ;p
HE always makes me stop, and recalculating....
I do admit that sometimes if I use my brain..
everything just doesn't make sense...
why should I insisting on something that doesnt seem would happen
or give any benefit for me, myself and I?
I try to runaway, and planned my escape,
but HE stopped me by making my plan impossible
and reminds me:
Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future
but I'm stubborn and worries......and HE try to remind me for the second and third time with this verse..
Today................................................I have the same struggle......................
this uncertainty.......really gets on my nerve.......and all the pressure......tumbling down my decisions...or so I thought.....guess I never really made up my mind......because...I dont think I can life my life like this for another two three years........the pressure.....too much to handle.......
yet....I fall on my knees to ask for HIS guidance.........and here's what HE told me:
Jeremiah 42: Flight to Egypt (and just when I was complaining what does flight to egypt has to do with this ;p).....................If you stay in this land, I will build you up and not tear you down........Do not be afraid....for I am with you and will safe you...I will show you compassion....
so...I give up...I'll leave it up to HIM...I'll do my part and let him do HIS part.....let your will be done in my life o LORD....Amen

Great Examples of Faith
1 Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. 2 Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.
3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
4 It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. Abel’s offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man, and God showed his approval of his gifts. Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith.
5 It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“he disappeared, because God took him.”[a] For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God. 6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
7 It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.
8 It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going. 9 And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise. 10 Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.
11 It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed[b] that God would keep his promise. 12 And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead—a nation with so many people that, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them.
13 All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. 14 Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. 15 If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. 16 But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
17 It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, 18 even though God had told him, “Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted.”[c] 19 Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead.
20 It was by faith that Isaac promised blessings for the future to his sons, Jacob and Esau.
21 It was by faith that Jacob, when he was old and dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons and bowed in worship as he leaned on his staff.
22 It was by faith that Joseph, when he was about to die, said confidently that the people of Israel would leave Egypt. He even commanded them to take his bones with them when they left.
23 It was by faith that Moses’ parents hid him for three months when he was born. They saw that God had given them an unusual child, and they were not afraid to disobey the king’s command.
24 It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward. 27 It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible. 28 It was by faith that Moses commanded the people of Israel to keep the Passover and to sprinkle blood on the doorposts so that the angel of death would not kill their firstborn sons.
29 It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.
30 It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls came crashing down.
31 It was by faith that Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed with the people in her city who refused to obey God. For she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.
32 How much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets. 33 By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. 35 Women received their loved ones back again from death.
But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection. 36 Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons. 37 Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half,[d] and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated. 38 They were too good for this world, wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground.
39 All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. 40 For God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us.

What IF?
Someone just told me that he didn't believe in God or religion
and that we lived only once...
or in other word he's an atheist and didn't believe in after life...
so than I say...what's the point of living?
I better give it up if there's no after life...
it's not that this life is worth living for
a lot of trouble, pain, hatred, etc.
then it makes me think about it
what's the point of living if there's no God, no heaven, no hell
it would be a total emptiness and nothingness
but then again, why do we know and care about the good and the evil thing?
if there's no God, no heaven and no hell, why do you even bother to do good deeds?
is that the kind of world you want to live on?
where everyone do evil stuff? (Jeremiah 17:9)
for me, there's no meaning on living...
if we life, we die, and that's it
I would give up my life long time ago if I didn't believe in God..
but then, I know HIM, HE makes me realize that my life is HIS
and its not my authority to ended it as I wish..
HE makes me believe in faith, hope and love
some people may say how can you believe in what you cannot touch, feel and hear...
I'll say because it's faith...and not science...
who are we? just a mere human, there's things beyond our knowledge...
2 Cor 4:18
"so we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen...
for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal..."
and in my opinion, there isn't any human in this world that wouldn't disappointed you
even me, my self, I'm sure I have disappointed someone, whether I realize it or not
because we're not perfect...we're just a mere human..
that is why we need forgiveness
and that is why there's no one to replace HIM..
sure, there's time on our life when we keep asking 'why GOD?'
but we have to remember that the temptation comes from the evil (Proverbs 19:3)
and we should look it another way, that with GOD power
HE will help us overcome our problem
because in our imperfection, HIS power is perfected...Amen
GBU alliF?
and that we lived only once...
or in other word he's an atheist and didn't believe in after life...
so than I say...what's the point of living?
